What is a problemspace?
Features of Problemspaces:
- Problemspaces can have different levels of hierarchy
- Problemspaces can be dependent
- Problemspaces have to be approached in certain order
- Problemspaces aren't binary
- Sufficient degree of goal approximation
- Actions on problemspaces can require stakeholder analysis
- Actions might be classified into different types
- → interdisciplinary work required to approach problemspaces on multiple layers
- Problemspace → Actions → Ideal Goal
Thoughts on Problemspaces:
- Have to be actively identified / "Hidden Dangers"
- Might seem secondary at first though longer term impact
- Focus on single ethical issue that requires analysis from different viewpoints
- Impact individuals yet likely overarching "bigger" issues
- Obstacles on the way to beneficiality / require potential spaces to be counteracted
- Intelligent machines themselves might play a role in approaching problemspaces though one cannot rely on such developments
